Offered with an original typed 4 stanza poem signed by Rex Ingamells `For Margaret Preston'. Rex Ingamells was a leading light of the Jindyworobak Movement, an artistic and literary movement whose members sought to promote indigenous ideas and customs over `alien', European culture. Margaret Preston admired and promoted aboriginal art, and contributed illustrations and essays to Jindyworobak publications
